Flourish visited a brand new 5-star hotel in Bath today. This is the only UK based hotel from the YTL brand and from what we saw today, we hope it’s the first of many! After exploring every inch of this hotel, we have created an agenda below to make use of it’s unique and fabulous space…

Flourish’s suggested arrival time – early afternoon

This hotel really lives and breathes 5-star luxury. From knowing your name within the first five minutes and researching its clients, to a meet and greet at the station and pre-prepared valet parking, your arrival will be perfect. Enjoy a glass of champagne in the lounge as you’re introduced to the hotel and its history. From discovering Roman coins to rebuilding mosaics, this hotel has a plethora of amazing stories to tell. Your luggage will be taken to your room and personalised items will be added to your minibar, so you’ll instantly feel at home.

A soothing treatment will be pre-arranged which ensures you experience the heart of the hotel – The Spa. On arrival, you are taken on an hour long pamper experience to get you prepared for your treatment – yes, before the treatment even starts! With 11 treatment rooms, this hotel is well prepared for small groups. For a special touch, you will have a personalised aroma created for you, dependent on your mood; you’ll even get to take this home after as a memory.

After a relaxing day, the evening will continue with the same VIP treatment as you’re escorted for champagne and canapés at a private thermal spa nearby. As you gently stroll back to the hotel, the bar will be ready to make you a bespoke cocktail based on your favourite spirits. This will become your cocktail for the rest of the evening, known simply by your name. Once you are seated for dinner in the semi-exclusive private dining room, a gastronomic feast awaits. The presentation is exquisite and each and every course is absolutely mouth-watering. 

Post dinner guests are invited to relax in the lounge area for a nightcap. If you wish to stay the following day there are a range of nearby activities include comedy walks, hot air balloon rides, punting on the River Avon, horse-drawn carriages and, of course, a visit to the Roman Baths.
